Zephyr

Creating branding for Zephyr, Queenstown’s only dedicated rock bar.

Branding for Zephyr was developed and inspired by the vibrant wall of posters outside the venue. The owners envisioned maintaining the wall's unique style—layering new posters of black-and-white design printed on colourful paper, creating a rich tapestry that evolves over time. Drawing from these colourful posters, I incorporated bold, bright hues alongside gradients, deep blacks, and neon accents into the brand to capture the dynamic spirit of the space. Adding rock hand and lightning bolt illustrations as accents, the overall design exudes brightness and intrigue, infused with a hint of grunge to align perfectly with the rock bar's character.
