Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. Designing the book for the winning entries of the festival’s writing competition.

I wanted to let the pieces speak for themselves, as the writers may have intended a certain interpretation, whereas each reader may interpret it differently. I felt this was an important consideration for this project. I made a french fold, Japanese stab bound book, with the insides of the folds screen printed bright yellow to bring happiness to a book that may cause lots of emotional reactions for many readers.
